Real film takes a real process — here’s how a Super 8 wedding film comes together.
On the day, we shoot your two rolls of Super 8 across the celebration — short, deliberate bursts of real film woven through the moments that matter.
Afterwards the film goes out to the lab for processing, then scanning, so every frame becomes a digital file you can watch and share.
Once the scans come back, you receive the link to the scanned raw footage — everything shot on your two rolls — and your edited mini highlight film cut from it.
More of a camcorder family? The Handycam shoots your day on a real MiniDV-style camcorder — the same home-movie idea, video instead of film, with the day’s original sound.

Our Super 8 package is $1,500. It includes two rolls of Super 8 film shot across your wedding day, the filming, processing and scanning of the film, the scanned raw footage delivered by a viewing / download link, and an edited mini highlight film cut from the footage.
Each roll holds a few minutes of film, so Super 8 is shot in short bursts woven across the day — getting ready, the ceremony, portraits and the celebration — rather than as continuous recording. It is a highlights-style keepsake of the day, not a start-to-finish document of it.
