Weddings at The Muses — North Fork Wedding Films

Samantha and James were married at The Muses in Southampton, and their day is the one in the photographs on this page. She wore an off-the-shoulder floral lace gown and carried pink roses and lilies; he wore a light blue suit with a plaid tie. Between the church, the columns and the gardens, the whole day photographed within a short walk.

The ceremony took place inside the church, beneath the mosaic dome — the couple crowned before the iconostasis in the Orthodox tradition, surrounded by icons and candlelight. It is a room unlike any other on Long Island, and it asks for a quiet, unobtrusive way of working: real moments as they happen, nothing staged or interrupted.

Outside, the grounds carry the portraits: the carved wooden church doors, the green marble columns, a stone bench by the tall windows, and hydrangea gardens in full bloom.
